Walter Brown Physical Therapy
Walter is a 1986 graduate of Boston University’s master’s PT program. He has been a board certified orthopedic physical therapy specialist for 22 years. He has lectured and held workshops locally and nationally on manual therapy and functional exercise. Walter has developed and consulted on rehabilitation and training programs for athletes of all ages and skill levels. He holds certifications in Graston Technique ®, kettlebell training and TRX ® suspension training. His published articles focus on the use of functional methods in the evaluation, treatment and prevention of pelvic and spinal injuries in athletes.
His current interest is using isometric training to improve strength in aging athletes. When not mindfully doing nothing he can be found swinging a kettlebell or trying to improve his handstand.
