Diane Marra is an Exercise Physiologist specializing in Biomechanics and Therapeutic Fitness. She earned her Master’s Degree in Kinesiology and currently on faculty at SUNY-Buffalo State College in the Exercise Science and Health & Wellness Programs. Diane holds numerous Professional certifications which include: National Strength and Conditioning Association–Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA-CPT), Licensed Yoga Tune Up® Teacher, Instructor for TRX® Suspension Training and BOSU®. She brings significant experience to her teaching; attracting active and sedentary clients and students with a desire to move intelligently. Her instruction is appropriate for healthy persons seeking improved habits, injury prevention or better athletic recovery – as well as those who seek to regain mobility after injury, surgery, or manage chronic neuro-muscular or degenerative conditions. Diane has served as a researcher and instructor in military, university, hospital and community settings across the US for 20+ years. Her research has been published in science journals and presented at industry conferences. Constantly studying to bring clients the most recent, science-based “self-care” methods for mind-body health; Diane is passionate about empowering others to improve pain, posture & performance.
